How we choose and check AI tools
We list AI tools that do a job for a small business, from every company on the same terms. Every fact comes from the vendor’s own pages, with the date we checked it.
Which tools do we list?
Tools that do a specific job for a small business, such as answering calls, keeping the books or pricing a job. Vendors of every size are listed on the same terms, the big AI labs’ business products included. A tool is never left out because its vendor doesn’t publish prices: it is listed with “Price not published”.
Where do the facts come from?
From the vendor’s own pages only, never from directories or review sites. For each fact we keep the page address, the date we checked it and the vendor’s own words. A fact we can’t check is shown as not stated, never estimated. Prices are shown in the currency the vendor uses, never converted.
How are tools ordered?
Each list says its order next to it. By default: tools mainly for the job first, then those with a stated starting price, with the lowest monthly price first, then the most recently checked. Ties are broken by a fixed shuffle of the tool's id, never by name or vendor A to Z. No vendor can pay for a place.
What do we never publish?
Ratings, review scores, testimonials or claims about results. We call a tool “best” only for stated criteria, and we say what they are.
Does anyone pay to be listed?
No. No vendor pays to be listed, and we don’t make money from the site today.
